Tiptop Audio captures the essence of the classic TR-909 cymbal sound in their CYMBL909 Eurorack module. Essentially, the CYMBL909 is two modules in one, with separate controls and I/O for both the crash and the ride sections. Each cymbal delivers the classic combination of 6-bit lo-fi digital samples and envelope-shaped analog filtering to produce the classic '80s electronic crash and ride sounds. But the CYMBL909 goes beyond the capabilities of the original circuits, allowing you to get even more creative with your Eurorack rig.

One of the biggest problems with Eurorack drum modules, even modern ones, is getting them to trigger off a variety of sources. Tiptop Audio solved this issue in the CYMBL909 with their dual pulse-shaper gate circuit, which lets you easily trigger your cymbals from virtually anything. Whether you're using standard gate signals, clock dividers, or other pulse/clock sources, the CYMBL909 will respond.
